GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE EARLESTOWN STORE
I went in my local Euronics store in Earlestown, Newton-le-Willows to ask for someone to come out to my leaking washing machine. Graham came out and gave excellent customer service. I told Graham the problem to which he looked at the back of the washer and the hoses were OK, then took the top off and couldn't find anything wrong, tipped it back then tried it on a programme and no leaks. Graham then put it on another programme and left it running through while he went out on a couple more jobs. Graham then came back and I said it did not leak, Graham tried it again and no leaks. Graham then said it would be with using liquid detergent as it foams too much. Graham recommended I buy powder and sprinkle it on top of the clothes and said powder is cheaper. I will try that, then I will update the review at a later date when I try washing with powder. I have used the liquid pods and had no leaks. Thank you Graham for the tips you gave me. I always get excellent service from Lee as well when I buy the white appliances as he delivers them, installs them, makes sure they work and takes the old ones away.

HILLS ELECTRICAL, BRIGHTON
HILLS ELECTRICAL, BRIGHTON fulfilled my order via Euronics. My product was available here at a cheaper price than the big names. I have received excellent service, particularly from the 2 gentleman who delivered my product with no fuss. I will be sure to use again. Thank you.

Great Service From An Independent Retailer
Having had lots of poor experiences from the likes of Curry, AO, Appliances Direct and the like we ordered a Freezer from Euronics handled through Source Electronics in Edinburgh. What a difference. Good prices and delivered for free a few days early on a Saturday morning by agreement by a friendly guy to where I wanted and without the almost routine dings and dents that the carriers for the big companies seem to somehow always manage. Great service - thought it was a thing of the past!

Harris Electricals on Lower Clapton Rd - Best service from the whole team - especially Demiz.

I only buy my white goods and electricals from Harris Electricals now (having previously had frustrating experience at a well known store). They are knowledgable, friendly, helpful A*

I recommend them to all my local friends.

The sound of silence...or Euronics auditory processing disability!
***If you read this review and find it useful.in making a decision, let me know by giving it a 👍🏻 below.***

***Update*** Euronics Ireland in today, refunded the purchase price. I found their phone number and was fortunate to speak to a decent chap.

Originally posted under Euronics Ireland.

The update is as of 13:16 today, 4 working days since my first email on their system - still zero response from Euronics.

Here's the story so far -

Bought a chest freezer from Euronics Ireland.

Received a text message giving 14 minutes notice (before close of the business day) to organise cover for the following morning.

Delivery before 12 (it read) and if the driver can't contact you beforehand they won't deliver.

Moved heaven and earth and spent the morning waiting and checking my phone for missed calls.

Nothing, Nada, Nix, Null.

1pm, called the number given and told - "driver is on a two day run and you're down for tomorrow before 12"

Explained that this was not possible as I couldn't get morning cover again, but I could get someone to drive from 40 minutes away to be there from 11am straight off a night shift. And the same on Saturday if that would help?

"No, has to be available all morning and can't do after 12 at all any day."

So why send me the text for today creating chaos for three people on 14 minutes notice?

"That was a mistake, it shouldn't have been sent"

So what now?

"Well, we are where we are.."

Realistically, I was getting nowhere I ended the call.

I sent two emails to Euronics and received a "we will get back to you the next business day (24 hours)

Almost three business days and a weekend later no response, so I emailed them to cancel the order.

I am done with them. Never again will I shop with Euronics, and while this is unfair to the physical walk-in shop owners, their allowing of Euronics online to trash their reputation is their own fault. Sadly.

I will update this further when / if they bother contacting me.

UPDATE*** 16:30 04/04/2022

Euronics UK send a response to my trust pilot review, Basically "sorry, but not our problem, it's Euronics Ireland"

Here's the thing, - it's not a UK or an Ireland problem -
IT'S A EURONICS PROBLEM folks!

Bad PR is BAD PR and this is bad PR - for a brand!

Pick up the phone Euronics UK customer relations, or which ever department and call your counterpart in Euronics Ireland!
They OBVIOUSLY could not care less about the damage bad reviews cause to the brand and to the independent store owners.

Whoever sent this response from Euronics UK needs a serious course in PR and BRAND MANAGEMENT before they are allowed access to a keyboard and a platform such as Trust Pilot.

Frustrating Service
I bought a Samsung Tv, unfortunately I picked an older model. I requested an upgrade which was approved. After returning the Older model I was told I will get the new model the following week. This is up to a month now and I haven't received my Tv and each time I call I am told it has been sent out.
Today 24/03/2022 I decided to drive from Athlone to Carlow to pick it up in store. Before making this trip I placed a call and I was told it cant be released as the manager is not on sit and no one can tell me what is going on with my Tv. I have never seen a customer service as poor as this.

Online purchase return and restocking fee
I have purchased a Bosch microwave online from Euronics. The product was delivered by the local agent as scheduled. The product itself seems good unfortunately it didn't fit the location. One of the air vents was partially covered so we decided to return the product. At this point the problem started. I went to the local agent shop to return the product and then I have been told to contact the customer service. I then contacted the customer service that stated "As the box has been opened, we are within our rights to charge up to 50% as a restocking fee. We have contacted the store regarding this. They have advised they are willing to charge a 20% restocking fee". They pointed to their customer service policies. The problem is that for online purchases the restocking fees are not valid. I contacted the citizenadvice that confirm the case and also pointed to Euronics the article on the www gov uk. I have the right to open the package for inspection and then return it even with a different package for a full refund. The Euronics customer service asked me to provide pictures of the package and then they changed their mind and offer a full refund. I returned the product to the local shop and after an on site inspection I was told that everything looks good. I then got the refund after 10 days. I am not happy about the full experience because Euronics tried to apply a restocking fee without checking the product and not in compliance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

Great Service
I purchased a BEKO FF last July from Euronics which had to be replaced as it was faulty. The exchange was dealt with quickly and efficiently and I was kept updated with the progress. The delivery guys, Rene and Martin were great. It wasn't easy as I live in a first floor flat, however, they were mindful and careful not to damage anything and fitted the new unit without any issues.
